I have heard a few good stories about that lake but still haven't been and not sure I ever will.

I live five minutes from the boat ramp. I've caught a few here and there, but I've never gotten into anything crazy.

It's a shallow water lake with very little structure. The main targets are docks and reeds along the shallow edges.

I'm thinking about making some bamboo structure and sinking a few here and there to try and make it more predictable.

I've always had more luck on the dam end than anywhere else. No bridges cross the water and very little brush piles that I have been able to pinpoint.
