Blustery day
« on: August 18, 2017, 09:46:23 PM »
Was looking for a repeat of my last trip to Martin Creek but the wind kicked my aft today.  Did manage a few crappie and caught 3 white bass.  Been fishing this lake since the early 80's and have never caught any white bass here.  Took the opportunity to fish some waypoints that I marked awhile back and sure enough there were some crappie holding there.  Didn't take any pics....the way the boat was bouncing they would have been a big blur anyway. lol  Maybe next time.

No I didn't.  Last winter was tough on that lake.  I'm hoping this fall I can smack em around a little.
