Title: Smacked em around today
Post by: Bush Hog on October 05, 2015, 06:01:12 PM
It was such a nice day and I was having such a good time I didn't realize I about had a limit of fish.  I finished up with a limit and left them biting.  The best lure today was the Thermocline Silver Flash Lil Fry.  The fish were biting very light and a lot of times I never felt the bite.  I caught a couple dead sticking but mostly they wanted it swimming.  Big one today was 15 inches and fat.

Bet you don't have one of these sitting next to your fishing hole!

WTG!   :clap :clap :clap

That's why I keep them in a basket or live well until I'm ready to leave.  If I am lucky enough to go over a limit I can cull the smaller ones.

But I haven't had that "problem" for the last couple of years.   :ROFLMAO

I kinda wish now that I would have weighed it.  I've caught a few more 15 inchers this year that weighed around 1 3/4# but this one was a lot fatter.  I bet it went 2 or better.  Thought I had a bass when it went to stripping line.
