Title: Martin Creek 12-1
Post by: Bush Hog on December 01, 2015, 08:29:11 PM
Decided to give Martin Lake a try today and it worked out good.  The lake is in excellent shape, water is clear and the fall colors were beautiful.  I managed to put 19 in the cooler and threw several back.  The fish were all ganged up in one spot so I just tied up (which I rarely do) sipped on some hot coffee and caught fish.  It was a little cooool under the bridge.  Thermocline Lil Shad in Summer Grasshopper was the jig of choice and it took awhile to  figure that one out.  They were in 14 FOW resting their fat bellies in the cool mud.
