Title: Another limit today 5-6-16
Post by: Bush Hog on May 06, 2016, 05:00:37 PM
This lake has sure been good to me this spring.  The crappie are skinny but dang, they're hungry!  Don't know how many I caught but kept a limit of 11 inchers.  The water has been murky all spring from the torrential rains we've had this year, so the shad pole in tuxedo color has been an excellent jig this year.  Caught several on PePop's electric chicken today also.  I've been noticing more people crappie fishing on Martin this year then I've ever seen.  This lake is mostly known for its bass and catfish.  Part of me says to keep my mouth shut about the crappie and part of me says to help others catch fish..........it's more fun helping others.

Want to try them again today but the wind is supposed to blow 1000mph.  Think I'll sit this one out.
