Title: Cold today...brrrrrr
Post by: Bush Hog on January 05, 2017, 08:22:08 PM
Wished I had a good report but it's awful.  To have caught so many crappie on this lake last year it has kicked by backside the last several outings.  Caught a few crappie today but nothing legal to keep.  For sure they are not following the same pattern as last year at this time.  The fog never did lift today and by noon I'd had enough.  The ones I found were right on the bottom and the bite was barely detectable.  Now, the bass were a different story....they had a decent bite going on.

Yep same story here.  Colder than a well diggers behind.  Hunting season is over for me, so I just started back going to the lake and I'm not having much luck so far myself.  Our crappie are still scattered out pretty good out on the lake, hoping they stack up in that winter pattern soon.
