Home made jerky

1-1/2 TO 2 BONELESS MEAT i use brisket

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 Tablespoon Worcestershire

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon hickory smoke flavored salt

( or garlic salt)

1/8 teaspoon jalapeno juice

or more if you like it spicy

mix seasons cut meat in thin strips add to seasons mix to coat cover let stand over night in the fridge mix every couple hours.

spread on oven grill pan sprinkle with course ground pepper.

put in oven on 150 deg. or warm dry 4 to 7 hours. enjoy.

Sounds like the recipe my wife uses.  Love that stuff.  Back when I deer hunted we always had a bag of jerky around the house and camp.  Wonder if I can talk here into making some more.

I use deer meat...
High Mountain Jerky Seasoning, original..
Follow their mixing instructions...
Cold smoke fer an hour...
And either hang, or dehydrate until done...
Purdy dog gone good....

very similar to what I do but I use venison and usually dehydrate but have used oven and next is to try in the smoker.
